using two techniques:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>simple excision<\/strong>: the frenulum is cut with scissors\/scalpel and then sutured (this is not recommended because it ends up removing the excess tissue and the scar remains in the same place where the frenulum was).<\/li>\n<li> <strong> rhomboidal excision<\/strong>: this procedure is more complex, first a cut is made in the frenulum and the vestibular gingiva and then the intermediate part of the frenulum and the transalveolar fibers are removed.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The treatment is performed under local frenulum<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treatment will be performed when there are<strong> anomalies in the development of the frenulum<\/strong> that cause problems in the patient&#8217;s oral health.  <\/p>\n<p>It is very important that the dentist or maxillofacial surgeon makes an exhaustive diagnosis and analyzes each case individually.<\/p>\n<p>It is necessary to know how to differentiate when
